Don't be scared to be the real you, you are amazing
Embracing the truest and most authentic version of you
hey my love,

Don't be scared to be the real you, you are amazing
I saw this quote the other day and it really got me thinking. Here is what the quote says; “Don’t be afraid of being different, be afraid of being the same as everyone else”. It got me thinking because, it made me realize something that not everyone takes seriously. The importance of just being ourselves and embracing who we truly are.
Indulge me for a minute and just try to picture the world without a variety of things. without a variety of movies, books, music, without a variety of food!! Can you imagine how terrible that would be? How boring and bleak the world will be? Yeah you get the picture, it would be terrible. That’s exactly how the world would be if everyone was literarily the same. That’s why it’s important that you embrace the real you and you show the truest version of yourself because you bring something special and different to the world.
Sometimes we are not even aware that we don’t let the truest version of ourselves show, until we truly take our time to think about it. It could be with the way we interact with our friends by being afraid to share our honest opinion about something because we want to be accepted, or even just pretending not to like certain things because we don’t want to be seen as different or judged. Or not even trusting our judgment and seeing other people’s opinion as better than ours.

Ultimately, embracing the truest version of yourself is so important because you not doing so, is not only you denying the world the pleasure of seeing something special but you denying who you are at core.
When we come into terms with who we truly are, and we embrace the truest version of ourselves we get to a place of genuine self-acceptance and self-love, because we are able to accept everything about us, our strengths, weaknesses, quirks and love ourselves regardless.
After being inspired by this quote to talk about this topic, It got me thinking about why people found it hard to embrace the truest version of themselves. So I found some reasons, and I would be giving solutions to this reasons. So pay close attention and be prepared to learn.

One of the reasons, I found why people don’t embrace the truest version of themselves, is because of the absence of self-love. If you don’t love yourself, you can’t embrace the truest and most authentic version of you. self-hate is one of the biggest hindrance to being authentic, because when you hate yourself you would want to be anything else but yourself. The solution to this, is to accept who you are and love you. The truth is nobody is perfect and everyone has one insecurity or the other that they are dealing with. Some just hide it better than others. Don’t see your “flaw” or “insecurity” as something that is terrible, see it as what makes you unique or different and embrace it. There is no need to hate yourself because you don’t look a certain way or act a certain way. You are fine just the way you are so just love you.

Another reason why people don’t embrace the truest version of themselves is because they have no idea who they are. They have allowed other people’s opinion about them cloud their opinion about who they are, to the extent that they do not even know who they are and what their values are. To solve this issue, you have to learn to become self-aware. You have learn about yourself, your likes, dislikes, values and what you hold to be important outside of other people’s opinions or influence.
Also people might find it hard to embrace or express the truest version of themselves because of the people they are surrounded by. Sometimes the people that make up some people’s inner circle are toxic, they don’t allow them to express their true self because they are always picking on them and making them feel weird for expressing themselves. If you are in such a situation, it’s high time you change your circle and surround yourself with people that support and encourage you to be yourself.
Lastly, one of the major reasons why people find it hard to be their true self is because of the fear of rejection. They crave acceptance, and they don’t want to be seen as different. But the truth is, being different is way cooler than being like everyone else. You should feel very good for being different because that means that there is no one like you and you are unique. Also remember that majority of the people that are celebrated in the world today for the great stuff they have done are celebrated now because they chose to be different. So today choose to be the truest version of yourself regardless of how others will view you, because the right people will accept and support you for being you.
To the next part of this newsletter;

here is the Quote for the week;
It’s really important that we show the world who we truly are, because pretending to be who we are not is really denying the world the presence of something rare and phenomenal.
here is the podcast for the week;
Here are my three lessons of the week;
It will take time, it will take pain, it will break you down, and it will force you to become stronger. Everything you are going through right now will take you to places you could have never imagined. Have faith in your journey and trust in yourself because one day, you will get there.
Have the courage to be disliked, because you can never please everyone.
You set the bar for how the world treats you. If you accept crumbs you are telling everyone around you that’s all your worth. It’s time to stop being comfortable with the bare minimum and demand excellence from yourself first and then from everyone else.
We have come to the end of this newsletter, and I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it for you. If you enjoyed reading it, please don’t forget to share it with your friends and family it will mean a lot to me. Wishing you a productive week ahead. See you next week.
